A Wedding in Style at Laguna Gloria

Laurel Pantin was born and raised in Austin, TX. She spent much of her childhood making memories at LAGUNA GLORIA and holds it close to her heart. There was no other place in the world where she would rather spend her wedding day. This says a lot since Laurel has traveled the world and even lived in South Africa with her then fiancé, Justin. Laurel is now a super fabulous fashion stylist and editor living in New York City!

Laguna Gloria is the perfect spot to hold an outside ceremony and reception. The venue is located right next to the Colorado river and lush with green scenery. Laurel and Justin said their vows under a white gazebo decorated with gorgeous flowers designed by POLLEN FLORAL ART. Laurel’s pair of antique diamond earrings from BELL AND BIRD were the perfect accessory to her white dress! The ceremony was simple, elegant, and expressed the romance shared between the love birds!

CAMERA TALK photographed Laurel and Justin on the many trails found at Laguna Gloria surrounded by picturesque natural grounds. While the newlyweds were off taking photos, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with yummy small bites by PINK AVOCADO and could grab a snow cone to cool off! Laguna Gloria is one of our favorite places to get lost in. The contemporary art, lakeside views, and tunnels formed by trees will keep guest entertained while each member of your family insists they have a picture with you in your wedding dress!

Of course, the fashion extraordinaire had several crowd pleasing outfit changes! Laurel modeled an exquisite gold gown and a sparkling silver gown for the reception. We were in awe of the blushing bride as she twirled in her dresses!

PINK AVOCADO made a delicious feast to start off the night! Laurel and Justin’s family and friends were such a fun and exciting group. The crowd was filled with the most stunning folks from around the globe! Everyone shook their tail feather and danced the night away celebrating the marriage of these two wonderful people.

Laurel and Justin’s wedding was a truly magical day filled with style, dancing, laughter, and lots of celebratory libations! Couture Details wishes the newlyweds a life full of love and many more adventures together!

Relish on all the unique details of this wedding captured by CAMERA TALK and YETI MAN below!  Thank you to the talented vendors who each played a huge role in this special occasion.

A Flowery Spring Wedding

Sharon and Greg first met in the Austin Jewish Community where the two bonded over shared Jewish traditions and their love for Austin. The couple loved celebrating these connections and quickly fell head over hills for each other. Sharon’s family has been long time members of the LADY BIRD JOHNSON WILDFLOWER CENTER. The couple knew there was no other place they would rather become Mr. and Mrs. Brener than surrounded by the beautiful fields of green!

Sharon and Greg planned for an outside wedding at the Family Garden’s pavilion. Due to potential afternoon showers, we made a last minute decision to have the ceremony inside. Our team and wonderful vendors were able to change plans with ease and create a beautiful space inside the white stones of the Visitor’s Gallery. The Wildflower Center is a gorgeous venue inside and out! The Chuppah looked absolutely stunning decorated with ROSEHIP FLORA’S flower design. The beaming bride walked down the aisle to the lovely string music of STRINGS ATTACHED. The breaking of the glass signified the conclusion of the ceremony as guests shouted Mazel Tov and headed to cocktail hour!

The weather cleared up just in time for a colorful sunset. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour with refreshing drinks and live music by BUZZ AND THE BLUE CATS in the Display Gardens. Dinner and dancing took place under the stars to make for a magical night. Post cards with Sharon and Greg’s photos covered the tables for friends and family to write their well wishes on!

CONTIGO served a tasty dinner and kept the party going with thirst-quenching his and her craft cocktails. Not only is their food delicious, but their place-setting and buffet setup is picturesque. Dessert lovers had the night of their lives with mini cupcakes baked by MICHELLE’S PATISSERIE and creamy gelato from DOLCE NEVE! If that doesn’t take the cake, each guest got to take home a small jar of local honey!

The Couture Details team wishes Sharon and Greg a happily ever after! See the details of their magical day captured by RYAN GREEN PHOTOGRAPHY below and check out the stationary create by the bride herself!

Thanks to an amazing group of vendors who were able to roll with the last minute rain decisions flawlessly!

A Dreamy Spring Wedding at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Amanda and Matt were both born and raised in Texas before moving to Manhattan to pursue their careers in the creative industry. Just like all of us Texans, they remain true to their southern roots and knew they had to say their vowels in the Lone Star State. There is nothing Texans love more than bluebonnets and breakfast tacos. These two ingredients made Amanda and Matt’s wedding day one to remember!

The LADY BIRD JOHNSON WILDFLOWER CENTER is a dreamy venue for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Not to mention the wildflower fields are the perfect place for wedding portraits. Amanda and Matt said their I do’s surrounded by family, friends, and larger than life trees in the Family Garden Lawn. ROSEHIP FLORA fashioned the most gorgeous flower arrangement on the wood altar. We were in awe of the white rose floral design. Pictures by LEAH MUSE PHOTOGRAPHY capture the beauty of Amanda and Matt’s outdoor ceremony.

Wedding guests were guided through bluebonnets and across a gorgeous bridge to cocktail hour in the Display Gardens. The newlyweds were busy taking pictures as the sun started to fall on the colorful landscape. Refreshing drinks and tunes by AARON MCDONNELL AND THE NEON EAGLES kept the guests entertained! Amanda and Matt’s signature drinks included a His and Her Margarita. Matt chose a Mezcal margarita and Amanda went with the traditional Tequila margarita. The thoughtful couple even made custom koozies so their guests could keep their drinks cold!

Dinner and dancing took place in the beautiful courtyard. The tables looked absolutely lovely decorated with greenery and candles. CONTIGO cooked up a delicious farm fresh dinner and dessert. The highlight of the night was the funnel cake station! We loved this unique dessert idea! After a night of two-steeping to the country band, Contigo served breakfast tacos to end the wedding with a bang. Thank you for the yummy eats Contigo!

Amanda and Matt’s wedding day was all about the details! We loved helping them create their dream wedding. We wish you two all the happiness!

Mattersight's Sales Kick Off

Sales Kick Offs are vital for companies in kicking off the year with motivation, teamwork and innovative tools to achieve the company’s annual goals and vision!  Couture Details Events knew we had to plan a fun and inviting event when Mattersight asked us to plan and execute their 2016 Sales Kick Off.

We wanted to make sure Mattersight’s team was out of the city and away from distractions to make the most out of their SKO. We booked the HYATT REGENCY LOST PINES RESORT AND SPA, which is the perfect distance from the airport for those out-of-towners. As SKO attendees arrived at the resort, they were greeted with a welcome bag of yummy snacks, their lanyard, and agenda.

Prior to the SKO, employees were required to take a personality test, which is a key component of Mattersight’s product. The test reveals each person as one of five personalities. Everyone’s lanyard was a different color indicating personality type.

The Sales Kick Off started with a few breakout sessions to begin brainstorming sales strategies. Once the short sessions ended, everyone headed from the meeting rooms to the Texas Margarita competition! After a long day of traveling and working, it’s nice to have some friendly competition. Each team had one person from each personality group. This is a fantastic way to learn how to work with people who have a different thought process than your own. The team who crafted the tastiest Margarita won bragging rights for the rest of the SKO!

Once the winning team was crowned 2016 Margarita Mixology Champion, everyone was hungry for dinner. Many of the attendees were visiting from the Mattersight headquarters in Chicago, therefore, a BBQ feast was a must. The first night of the SKO ended with fireside chats, s’mores, and acoustic guitar tunes by the talented DAVEY SCHRANK. Mattersight’s very own Alexandra Yndo got to show off her vocals as her coworkers danced the night away! As each person returned to their room, they were surprised to find a gift box waiting for them. The boxes held a book, treat, and of course a hangover kit carefully curated by Couture Details Events!

The next day was full of meetings and brainstorming sessions, but it could not start without breakfast tacos! If you’re wondering – yes, the hangover kits were put to good use and worked like a charm! Mattersight worked together throughtout the day to accomplish their planning goals for the coming year. Planning meetings can be long and tiring, but luckily we had the opportunity to add some humor to brighten up the room. On each table there were several potted succulents each holding a card with a different chemistry joke that was sure to make you chuckle!

Q: What did the scientist say when he found 2 isotopes of helium?

A: HeHe

Mattersight celebrated with a Texas themed dinner and clinked their glasses to an enjoyable, successful SKO! As the team was at dinner, they received an itunes download of Dale Watson’s latest album in their inbox. Dale Watson will be preforming at Mattersight’s 2016 Call to Loyalty this fall! Everyone can't wait to sing along with the country legend!

The next morning, Mattersight had their final meetings and headed back home! We look forward to seeing the future success of this innovative company!

As we love to mention, we have the absolute best clients and Mattersight is one of them! We want to give them huge thank you for choosing Couture Details Events to be a part of their team!

THE HONOR ROLL, a creative agency in Austin, designed all the artwork for the Sales Kick Off including the agenda, cocktail competition info sheet, the dinner menu, and the other print you see below!

The Honor Roll's First Birthday

unspecified-8

Every anniversary calls for a party! Celebrating birthdays are our forte and we were thrilled when THE HONOR ROLL asked for our help in applauding their one-year anniversary. The Honor Roll is a creative agency right here in Austin, Texas. We love partnering with this talented company to design and execute artwork for our clientele. Their work never disappoints to add the perfect touches to any event.

Frist year anniversaries are huge milestones. The Honor Roll wanted to express their thanks to all of their clients for contributing to their success! The enclosed parking lot behind THR’s offices was the perfect spot for their party themed “a kid’s first birthday.” Along with this fun theme, THR wanted to make sure their brand culture was present by using the school theme of their company name.

Upon arriving to the party, each guest had to fill out a name tag with a school superlative. This is a fun ice breaker for those party guests who have yet to meet. Once guests were styling a name tag, they were directed to the popcorn machine and photo booth. The photo booth backdrop was a black chalkboard that guests could write silly sayings on (think 1 + 1 = 3). Music was blasting, the keg was flowing, guests were mingling, and then dinner arrived! MICKLETHWAIT CRAFT MEATS pulled up to the parking lot with their decorative food trailer. Micklethwait’s food trailer could add character to any parking lot! Shortly after dinner was served, CHURRO CO. was firing up delicious campfire churros. Luckily, they brought enough for everyone to have seconds! Party favors included pencils and bumper stickers that looked just like the one on the back of your family’s minivan when you made an A+ in school! The Honor Roll’s first birthday party was a success!

We love collaborating with The Honor Roll. Not only do they create amazing products, but they are such a genuine and friendly team. We look forward to working on future projects with this fun group!

Mattersight's Call to Loyalty

Who says corporate events and conferences can’t be fun? Couture Details Events loves creating and executing corporate events that all attendees can enjoy! We have the absolute best clients that have not only become our friends, but are truly making an impact in their industry. One of our favorite clients is a tech company called Mattersight. In short, Mattersight helps brands have better chemistry with their customers by providing behavioral routing software for call centers. Each Fall, Mattersight has a Call to Loyalty in Austin, Texas for existing and potential partnerships. Call to Loyalty is a way Mattersight can meet consumers face to face, explain their business processes, share customer experiences, answer questions, and most importantly know their clientele on a personal level. The event spans over three days and typically takes place in and around a hotel in Downtown Austin. Most C2L attendees fly into Austin from other parts of the US., therefore, we want to make sure they experience the laid-back, “weird” culture of this exciting city!

This past year Mattersight’s C2L kicked off with a Texas themed pre-party at Waller Ballroom! As guests arrived at the HILTON AUSTIN, they were given a BATCH BOX filled with local Austin goodies, an agenda, their lanyard, and then were directed to the party that was just a short walk from the hotel. The fun, relaxed feel of the party was the perfect atmosphere for the introduction of Mattersight and the attendees. Out of towners could see a taste of the weird Austin culture by checking out the potted succulents around the venue provided by ROSEHIP FLORA. Each succulent held a picture of a known Austin mural, such as the “i love you” painting on South Congress. Food trucks are an Austin staple, so of course we had EAST SIDE KING’s food truck serving mouth-watering chicken buns and brussels sprout salad. SHINYRIBS, an Austin band, livened up the party with their hip shaking music! The lead singer knew how to get the crowd involved in the music. Partygoer’s could jump in the photo booth and snap a picture holding a “wanted” sign, stick horse, or lots of other Western props. The party wouldn’t be complete without a signature cocktail. The Loyal-Tea was a delicious Mattersight spin on the Texas favorite, Arnold Palmer! The night was filled with cocktails, dancing, and socializing! The party was a great start to the conference days ahead!

The following two days of Call to Loyalty were held in a ballroom at the Austin Hilton, however, once inside you wouldn’t think you were at a hotel. Mattersight wanted an intimate rock concert feel and that is exactly what our team gave them! We transformed an empty, plain setting to an intimate, upscale ambiance. The room was lined with red backlights and drapes, branded journals were placed at each seat, and Mattersight’s logo was displayed on TVs surrounding the stage at the front of the room. ATX EVENT SYSTEMS provided top of the notch tech including televisions, lights, and microphones. Several guests expressed that they felt they were attending an Apple Inc. conference. The ballroom was no longer the Hilton ballroom, but a truly Mattersight event. Over the course of two days, the audience watched presentations, listened to a panel of speakers discussing the effect of Mattersight’s products, and attended VIP breakfasts with the owner and CEO of the company. Audience members even had the ability to tweet questions that would be answered after each presentation. Call to Loyalty was an invaluable learning experience for Mattersight’s customers.

Call to Loyalty featured special guest Matt Dixon, author of The Effortless Experience. Matt’s book contains his research and analysis to reveal what makes a customer loyal. This was a perfect topic to endorse Mattersight’s products. Everyone who attended C2L received a signed copy of The Effortless Experience.

Mattersight’s Call to Loyalty helped give clients and future clients a better understanding of the products Mattersight offers and the culture of the company. The Austin getaway proved a success. Couture Details Events is looking forward to this year’s Call to Loyalty in October taking place at the new, modern Hotel Van Zandt.

Special shout out to our friends at The Honor Roll. Thank you for the fun, creative artwork done that added the perfect touches for Mattersight’s Call to Loyalty! We worked with such a talented team and produced an amazing event!

A Wedding Weekend at Montesino Ranch

Kelley and Neal’s wedding weekend at MONTESINO RANCH kicked off with a fiesta themed rehearsal dinner on cool Friday evening. LICHA’S CANTINA, of East Austin, served up authentic appetizers and delicious tacos. I think everyone has a new favorite local Austin restaurant!!!! Churros from Casa Maria Restaurant were provided for dessert and of course a fiesta isn’t a fiesta without a margarita machine! Our team loved the opportunity to be a part of such a fun night!

And then the couples Big Day arrived! The wedding ceremony took place at a lovely pavilion on top of the highest peak at Montesino overlooking the rolling hills of Wimberley, TX. DAVEY SCHRANK played acoustic guitar as the wedding party walked down the aisle. The simplicity of the pavilion and outdoor scenery was the perfect place for Kelley and Neal to say their I do’s.

The celebration began with cocktail Hour set in the Montesino barn. Davey Schrank played some more tunes as guests were served refreshing cocktails and small bites prepared by CONTIGO CATERING. Kelley took off her veil and fashioned a gorgeous flower crown created by ROSEHIP FLORA and was ready to dance the night away!

Due to rain that evening, the dinner reception was held in a lovely tent from WHIM; it felt festive and was decorated with twinkling string lights. The newlyweds didn’t let rain dampen their night. Rain means good luck! Beautiful greenery and cute potted plants by Rosehip Flora made stunning centerpieces. Contigo Catering cooked their specialty pig roast right in front of the guests and wowed the crowd! The buffet not only looked wonderful, but it tasted wonderful too! SUGAR SHACK BAKERY made an elegant 4-tired white cake that guests are still dreaming about today. GREENBELT DJ set an upbeat mood for dinner then got people on their feet to start the dance party. As the night came to an end, the newlywed’s family and friend sent them off to their honeymoon waving sparklers in the air!

LAUREN LINDLEY PHOTOGRAPHY did an amazing job capturing the love, laughter, and fun had throughout the night!

Kelley and Neal’s wedding was absolutely beautiful. We worked with an amazing team of people that made every detail perfect!

A Spring Wedding at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge

Melissa and Brandon said their I do’s in the beautiful fields of the VINEYARDS AT CHAPPEL LODGE. The beaming bride walked down the aisle after the tune of her brother singing and playing acoustic guitar. The full, green trees and elegant white shepherd hooks built by the mother and father of the bride were a picturesque ceremony setting. LUCIE MARIE gave the bridal party an extra sparkle with gorgeous hair styles and flawless make-up.

The day could not have been a more perfect day to celebrate true love. RACHAEL HALL PHOTOGRAPHY captured the essence of Melissa and Brandon’s fun-loving relationship. The photos portray the chemistry and happiness shared between the two. The Vineyards at Chappell Lodge has an endless amount of outside photo backdrops. Fields of bluebonnets, wildflowers, and larger than life trees are the perfect touch to wedding portraits. BOUQUETS OF AUSTIN wowed the Couture Details Team and wedding guests with their floral creations. The spring arrangements added a lovely pink and green pop of color!

Dinner was served under the stars and twinkly string lights. POLKADOTS CUPCAKE FACTORY baked up a delicious cake with M & B written in icing that the couple enjoyed together. Guests were treated with their own cupcake! HILL COUNTRY DJ set the mood and had people on their feet to dance the night away! As the night came to an end, the newlywed’s family and friends wished them happily ever after as they tossed flower petals over the couple!

The Couture Details Events team loved collaborating with Melissa and Brandon for their big day. We wish you two all the happiness!  Thank you to our vendors - we could not have done it without each of you!

2016 American Advertising Awards

Our team had an incredible time at the Austin Addy Awards 2016. It was an honor to be a part of this special event for the 2nd year. The Addy Awards also know as the American Advertising Awards, is an advertising competition among professionals and students. Couture Details had the pleasure of working with the Austin Ad Federation in planning their chapter’s award show.

In executing the award show, we are constantly working with extremely talented and creative people. The theme for this year’s competition was“Ex Nihilo: Something From Nothing.” The theme was a tribute to the advertising and marketing professional’s gift of transforming a blank sheet into a captivating ad.

The Austin Ad Federation received a countless number of entries this year. Couture Details would like to congratulate all of the winners on their impressive work. You are the reason we buy products that we really don’t need, but feel so compelled by the ad that we have to answer to it.

“Teamwork makes the dream work” is a great tagline to describe the planning process of the Addy Awards.  Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing did an excellent job in organizing an event that was entertaining and well decorated.  A special shout out to everyone listed below who donated their time and expertise to make an evening not to be missed, see you next year!

A Lovely Winter Wedding at Prospect House

On December 5th, 2015, Chelsea and Greg celebrated their marriage at the beautiful PROSPECT HOUSE. The rolling Texas Hill Country made a picturesque backdrop as the happy couple expressed their vowels in holy matrimony. The options for photo backgrounds were endless at this charming venue. SOPHIE EPTON PHOTOGRAPHY did a fabulous job capturing the elegant details that made this night perfect. The love, laughter, and (of course) tears that were shared throughout the night can be seen in the photos taken by the photography team.

The flower creations were the perfect touch on top of the mother of the bride’s handmade table runners. ENTHRALL DESIGNS created lovely centerpieces, bouquets, and other decorations including the stunning flower wall pictured below. SAY CHEESE built their photo booth so guests could take their photo in front of the flower wall, but no need to worry – silly props were still involved in the picture taking.

Everyone had an absolute blast, however, there was one difficult decision to make that night: which flavor of cake they wanted for dessert. CAKES ROCK crafted an exquisite four-tier cake with four different mouth-watering flavors, including Strawberry Lemonade, Chocolate Overload, Disco Lemonade and Traditional white velvet. Lucky for the guests, there was enough cake for seconds!

The dancing was kicked off by a very entertaining and perfectly choreographed father-daughter dance. The guests continued to dance the night away to a mix of familiar oldies and recent tunes played by HILL COUNTRY DJ. The flower girl stole the show as she twisted and twirled on the dance floor.

The night ended as the sweet couple made their way through a tunnel of sparklers as guests waved them off to the sunny beaches of the Dominican Republic!

Chelsea, Greg, and their family and friends were such an exciting and kind bunch to collaborate with. The Couture Details Events team enjoyed planning this picture-perfect day.

A special thanks to Sophie Epton Photography for allowing us to relive the fun through the photos displayed below. Another big thank you to all of the wonderful people who helped in making this wedding stand out from the rest!

OFF TO THE RACES

2015 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX

As we dive into 2016, we reflect back on some of our most memorable events of 2015.  Formula One certainly tops the charts. Our fabulous vendors, themed activations, loyal fans, and not to forget the relentless rain made for an exciting weekend!

The incredibly talented creative team, GUERILLA SUIT, designed some truly authentic and fun fan experiences located in the Biergarten and Texas Saloon activations.  We partnered with MADE FIRST, ILD LIGHTING, and AUSTIN ODDITIES to bring the vision to life and were so excited for the 3-day event.

Patricia, the strongest hurricane ever recorded, selfishly decided she wanted front row seats to F1. The dedicated, poncho wearing fans from all over the world still made their way to the races.

The Biergarten activation at turn 7 was overflowing with beer loving fans. The activation offered over 20 craft beers on tap and was a truly delicious compliment to the atmosphere developed by GUERILLA SUIT. Race enthusiasts were enthralled watching acrobats executing tricks on a rolling barrel around the Biergarten. The wreath lighting fixtures decorated with blue and white ribbon were stunning. Wine barrels for seating lined the outside of the activation for a closer view of the racetrack.

Race-goers filled the Saloon to get a taste of what Texas folks are all about. Fans grabbed some beers, sat down at the farm tables, and enjoyed singing their favorite country tune with the dueling pianists. An aerialist posing on a suspended saddle was a fan favorite. Deer, buffalo, rams, longhorns and old Texas License plates hanging around the activation were a clever touch. The activation was a tribute to our Texas heritage.

The Biergarten and TX Saloon were such fun projects. The charm of Texas was in full display. Let’s hope the racers come back in 2016 for a rematch.

A special thank you goes out to all of the vendors who, together, made the Biergarten and TX Saloon the hottest spots to hang out at the 2015 Formula 1 US Grand Prix!

THE ART OF MARRIAGE

Within the Blanton Museum of Art, surrounded by modern and contemporary paintings, Kelley and Phil joyfully celebrated their union on Saturday, October 17th of 2015. From the whimsically decorated reception in the stunning Rapoport Atrium to the ceremony surrounded by art upstairs, the couple’s happiness reflected off every surface throughout their special evening.

We loved making Kelley and Phil's special day as romantic and intimate as possible. Flowers by Bouquets of Austin delicately decorated each table, as each shade of pink and the soft candlelight perfectly balanced the magnificent blue walls enclosing the atrium. Adding a more personal twist, hot sauce bottles with each guests name directed everyone to his or her respective seat.

After guests were treated to a delicious meal catered by Whole Foods, Look No Further Entertainment amped up the celebration. As glow sticks, glow glasses and other party favors were brought out, everyone danced the night away.

As the party winded down, the bride and groom enjoyed one last dance and intimate moment before saying goodbyes to family and friends, who cheered them off under a glittering arch of sparklers.

Nicole Ryan Photography has beautifully captured the precious moments throughout the night, and the Couture Details Team is so happy to have helped Kelley and Phil on their special day.

Romantic Desert-Inspired Wedding

We loved every detail of every detail, of this most romantic desert-inspired wedding! Julie and Abe, both born and raised in Austin, TX joined in marriage on Saturday May 2, 2015, a most stylish and romantic wedding celebration! The couple truly incorporated their favorite details into their special day, from the strawberry wedding cake, to the open-air dinner tent under the stars.

Guests were greeted with tasty bites and libations from Royal Fig Catering as they enjoyed a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. As the sun set, guests gathered under the light strung trees to witness Julie and Abe joining in marriage! Once Julie and Abe were pronounced Husband + Wife, guests cheered “Mazel Tov” and made their way to the stunning “under the stars” dinner experience!

After everyone enjoyed their family-style dinner, they headed to the dance floor and danced the night away to T.G.B.A.D.; a favorite Austin band that you can find at Saxon Pub every Friday evening! To keep the celebration going, the couple had late night Pizza Delivery from the Austin iconic Home Slice!

Once the clock struck midnight, the Bride & Groom departed under an arch of sparklers, as they drove off in a vintage Mercedes Benz.

Thank you to every vendor that made this dreamy wedding come to life, the Couture Details had a ton of fun and couldn’t have done it alone!

Ana + Adam's Romantic Celebration of Love: A Spring Wedding at Laguna Gloria

Ana + Adam’s wedding was a true celebration of love! Laguna Gloria was the perfect setting for their outdoor Spring wedding; The evening was filled with beautiful weather, stunning details and true happiness. The most romantic & intimate standing ceremony took place at Laguna Gloria’s Temple of Love and was undeniably gorgeous. BRICOLAGE CURATED FLORALS delicately covered the gazebo and lined the aisles with the most beautiful and vibrant creations.

After the ceremony, MARIACHI BALLEROS led guests down a scenic twinkle light path to the cocktail hour where guests enjoyed The Bride & Groom’s classic signature drinks, Cuba Libres and Palomas! During the cocktail hour, the Father of the Bride sang with the mariachi band as everyone mingled, enjoyed the views, and cooled off with tasty bites and libations on the back lawn.

Spring is Here!!!!

As the Spring Wedding Season is officially upon us, we love to look back at some of our favorite Spring celebrations! This April celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Martin was certainly one of our favorites. Every detail told a story of their life together and personal style, from the festive electric blue bridesmaid dresses to the simply pretty white and coral petals by VERBENA FLORAL DESIGN. The ceremony and reception took place at the iconic Austin GREEN PASTURES, a gorgeous historic home set on a lovely lush lawn with hundred year old oak trees and stunning peacocks! The evening kicked off with a romantic ceremony on the lawn followed by a celebratory cocktail hour filled with tasty bites and a hand selected bar menu. On to dinner, where the tables had a personal touch with numbers that represented the special numbers of their love & friendship, like “5” – the number of places they have lived together! As dinner came to an end, the dance party commenced, guests danced and laughed the night away, making special memories, much thanks to GREEN BELT DJ! It was truly a beautiful celebration with beautiful details! Cheers to the lovely Mr. & Mrs. Martin in celebrating their upcoming anniversary.

2015 Addy Awards

Each year the Austin Ad Federation presents the Addy Awards to honor and award some of the most talented and creative advertising campaigns from Austin agencies!  And each year, they select one local firm to create and host the event; this year it was oh-so-talented MARKETING MATTERS.

We partnered with the brilliantly talented team of MARKETING MATTERS and the fabulous production team of VELVET CARTEL to create the 2015 Addy Awards. Together we found a balance that was sexy, fun, classy and highly entertaining. The theme was “Own it.” From Amish to Dominatrix, no matter what you choose for your campaign, OWN IT!

Guests arrived to the AUSTIN MUSIC HALL greeted with a red velvet rope and gorgeous lighting, provided by ILIOS LIGHTING.  They proceeded to the main hall to view a beautiful display of each ad entry, and enjoyed some sexy and Amish bites provided by CATERING WITH A TWIST. The hors d’oeuvres ranged from chicken and waffles to veggie sushi and were passed by interactive theme dressed servers! In accordance with the theme, the tables, dressed in gorgeous crushed cranberry linens provided by MARQUEE Event Rentals, were decorated with sultry masks and handcuffs for attendees to “enjoy”!

The entertainment for the evening was like no other; during the cocktail hour guests enjoyed interactive Amish and Dominatrix photo booths by BILL PEARY PHOTOGRAPHY. Once the awards production began, the awards rolled smoothly with creative clips and affects, thanks to the awesome NOMAD PRODUCTIONS team. Intermission was a fun surprise with a talented Rap & Dance performance by the Live Amish and Dominatrix talent! To say the least, it was definitely a night to remember for the most accomplished, cutting-edge thinkers in the Austin advertising community, Congratulations to each Addy Award Winner!

The COUTURE DETAILS had an absolute blast planning the 2015 Addy Awards; the event was a huge success and we look forward to seeing what creativity the 2016 Addy Awards will bring!

This year’s Formula One at Circuit of the Americas was filled with fast cars and Fiestas! The Couture Details Events team collaborated with Guerrilla Suit and Transmission Events to bring the vibrant colors and sounds of Mexico to Circuit of the Americas through an authentic Cantina experience at Turn 4.

Colorful serapes, cacti, and strings of picado imbued the Cantina with a festive air. In addition to the bright décor, we had DJ King Louie, DJ Orion, and DJ Chorizo Funk spinning fun Spanish beats with a twist, creating a non-stop dance party between races! Mariachi Relampago, Mariachi Estrella, and Marichi Cocula also made appearances, offering the guests an authentic Mexican Mariachi experience, which was hands down a huge success!

Mango and Margarita, two mini burros, greeted guests at the Cantina entrance; nobody could walk by without taking advantage of this unique photo op. Special thanks to Austin Oddities & Entertainment for bringing them!

Once inside, guests enjoyed a great Mexican beer selection and a classic Margarita and Tequila Bar! All in all, the Cantina provided a vibrant and exciting atmosphere to drink and dance and relax during Formula One.
